  4. The first rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, to ever be performed was done in India in 600 B.C. The surgeon took skin from the forehead and cheeks to help reshape the nose. Because of the continued practice of nose surgeries in India, their practice eventually passed over to Britain when the British saw an Indian mason perform the surgery on one of their fellow countrymen during the 17th After bringing home the procedure, they improved the technique and passed it all around the country where it is now continued in great popularity today.
